Who We Are

This policy is issued by the Bishop Uzodike Memorial Seminary Nnewi Old Boys Association (BUMSEMOBA), a Nigerian alumni association incorporated under CAC RC 8242214. It applies to information collected through bumsemoba.org (and its alias bumsemoba.com) and any linked application forms, including our membership registration form.

What We Collect

When you apply for membership or otherwise contact us, we may collect:

• Your full name and set / year of graduation
• Phone number and email address
• State or country of residence
• A personal photograph, and optionally a group photograph (e.g. with your set)
• Any message or additional information you choose to share with us

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, religious, or financial information) beyond what you voluntarily include in a free-text field.

How We Collect It

Membership details are collected through a Google Form linked from this website. Submissions are received and stored using Google's infrastructure (Google Forms, Sheets, and Drive), which BUMSEMOBA uses as a data processor under Google's own security and privacy standards.

Why We Collect It

We use the information you provide to:

• Register and verify your membership of the Association
• Organize members by set/year for events, communication, and record-keeping
• Contact you about Association activities, your regional chapter, and membership matters
• Maintain a photographic record of members, organized by set

Who Can See It

Submitted information is accessible to the National Secretariat and relevant National Executive Council officers responsible for membership administration. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not publish your phone number, email address, or exact location publicly on the website without your separate consent.

How Long We Keep It

We retain membership records for as long as you remain a member of the Association, and for a reasonable period afterward for historical and record-keeping purposes consistent with the Association's Constitution. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, as described below.

Cookies & Tracking

This website does not currently use analytics software, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking scripts. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), you have the right to:

BUMSEMOBA membership is intended for adult alumni of Bishop Uzodike Memorial Seminary. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
